One of the best writers around. Starting with his first book "The
Hunt For Red October" they only keep getting better with his latest
"Rainbow Six". Also has a P.C Game company called Red
Storm Entertainment which just brought out the Game Rainbow Six. I've
read all his books.
Best Book - Red Storm Rising
The undisputed master of heroic fantasy books. He has written some of
the best books I have ever read. The entire
"Drenai Saga"are excellent, the only reason I put "Waylander"
as his best book was because it was the first one I read, and it got me
hooked. If you haven't read one of his books DO IT NOW .

Coyle writes books mostly to do with war and tank combat. Makes you feel
like your their with his writing style. I think his first book was
"Team
Yankee".
Best Book - The Ten Thousand
Is a six part epic about the world after holocaust, 3 races survived, The Amtrak Federation (Underground Yanks), The Mutes (Surface dwelling Tribesmen) and The Iron Masters (Oriental Samurai dudes) .Well worth the 2000+ pages.
Six Books in the Series by Patrick Tilley
If you don't know who Tolkein is then you should learn to read some day. Start with "The Hobbit" and move on to "The Lord of the Rings". I didn't like many of his other books but you have to read at least the Hobbit.

Iron Maiden Singer has written two books. I've only read "Lord Iffy Boatrace", and it was damm funny. If you have a sense of humour or like Iron Maiden then have a read.
Just started reading his "Wheel Of Time" Series. Have been told its
good but will let know what I think Once I've read the first book. Also a
computer
game just been released thats pretty good.
Wrote the Book "One Crowded Hour" which is the Biography of Neil Davis, a Australian Combat Camera Man. Excellent story of an extraordinary mans life during the Vietnam War in particular.
